The Nyack Library welcomes teen and adult volunteers in grades 7 and up.
Adult volunteers help with shelf maintenance, librarian assistance and other duties. If you would like to volunteer, please stop by the Adult Services desk during library hours to pick up an application or download and print/scan the application. Adults must also submit a background check form* and attend mandatory safety trainings. For more information, please contact Kristine Kumpf at 845-358-3370 ext 244.
There are also volunteer opportunities for middle school-aged students in the Children's room and teen-aged students in the Teen room. Minors must have their parents/guardians complete a consent form to volunteer. Please contact Morgan Strand at 845-358-3370 ext. 239 or firstname.lastname@example.org for these inquiries.
Applications should be submitted to Minerva Parker at email@example.com.
We do our best to accommodate as many volunteers as possible. However, there are a limited number of volunteer positions available. We recommend that applicants apply as far in advance of any deadlines as possible.
