Technology Access

Computer Resource Center (CRC) 
​

You will need to bring:
  • Active library card (if you do not have an active library card, you can contact  the Circulation Department in order to make arrangements  for a library card)
  • Coins and dollar bills to use self-service print/copy/fax services
  • Credit card payments for $1 or more will be available through CRC service desk 

CRC Hours of Service (Computers; Copiers; Fax Services) as staffing allows
Monday-Thursday                10 am – 7:45 pm
Friday                                      10 am – 5:45 pm
Saturday                                 10 am – 4:45 pm
Sunday                                   12 pm – 3:45 pm



Public Computers
The Computer Resource Center (CRC) offers Windows operating system, all featuring Microsoft Office. You must have an active library card to access all of the computing assistance available at the Library. Patrons are limited to sixty minutes of computer time per day. The CRC is available during open hours until 15 minutes before the building closes.

Wireless Printing
Wireless printing is available at the CRC. To print, patrons must connect to the printer's wireless network (DIRECT-2b-HP CRC), enter the password nyackcrc and choose the printer called CRCPRINT. Printouts are black & white and 15 cents a page.



Scan/Copy
The library's scanner can be used free of charge to scan documents and images to any email address. The scanner/copier is located in the CRC on the ground floor of the library.

Faxing
Faxing is available at the CRC desk and can be paid for once the fax has gone through. FAX #: (845) 358-6429

Wi-Fi
We have Wi-Fi available for our patrons when they are in the building. Please use the “Nyack Library Guest” network.
 Exam Proctoring 
The Nyack Library will serve as proctors for exams taken by distance learners who live within the Nyack School District. It is a free service we offer to the community. Exams should be scheduled at least two weeks in advance, during normal library hours. Students will need to provide identification. No direct supervision will be provided during the exam.
Students should contact Kat Sullivan to schedule exam proctoring.
