Volunteer

The Nyack Library welcomes teen and adult volunteers grades 7 and up. Volunteers help with shelf maintenance and librarian assistance. If you would like to volunteer, please stop by the reference desk during library hours to pick up an application or download and print the application here. For more information, please contact Tracy Dunstan at 845-358-3370 ext 213. You may also email applications to tdunstan@nyacklibrary.org

There are also volunteer opportunities for middle school aged students in the Children's room. Please contact Morgan Strand at 845-358-3370 ext 239 or mstrand@nyacklibrary.org for these inquiries.

We do our best to accommodate as many volunteers as possible. However, there are a limited number of volunteer positions available. We recommend that applicants apply as far in advance of any deadlines as possible.

Prospective volunteers over the age of 18 will be asked to complete a background check.
