Room Dedication and Naming Opportunities
We are grateful to our Donors who have added their names to our walls by funding rooms and areas in the Library.
Rooms that have been named are:

The Story Hour Room, dedicated in loving memory of Jean Mason Yassky
The Technical Services Department, dedicated in honor of Ethel Cardell
The Administrative Offices, supported by the Administration and staff of the Nyack Library
The Café, dedicated in loving memory of Stanley Acker
The Carnegie-Farian Room, dedicated in memory of Dr. Keyhan Farian
The Children’s Sit and Study area, dedicated in memory of Gail Jacobs Katz
The 500-699 Dewey area of Math, Science & Technology, supported by Patrick & Judith Lawler
The Outdoor Patio, dedicated in loving memory of Ruth Diebold
The Joan E. Moffett Reading Room, dedicated in recognition of Joan E. Moffett
The Mystery Room, dedicated in loving memory of Shirley Bunton
The Local History Room, supported by the Historical Society of the Nyacks
As the "Next Chapter" of the Nyack Library continues to unfold, naming opportunities for the rooms and areas that are yet to be dedicated will have a new format.
The value of each naming opportunity will not change. We welcome contributions for unnamed areas from single donors. However, in addition to the possibility of a single donor being recognized, names of multiple donors, with a minimum donation of $10,000 each, may also be acknowledged for a room or area with a value of $20,000 or more. For naming opportunities of less than $20,000 in total, a maximum of three donors may contribute. A plaque at the door of each room will list the name or names of the contributors.
